Description
This is one of 3 tube chassis (not a street car converted to race like ALL the other vipers) built internally by "Team Viper" at Chrysler. They had no constraints with suspension mounting points/weight relocation etc... THIS CAR COST OVER $285,000 to build and has the best of everything proven to win races! FULL Aeroquip, eng,trans,& diff coolers w fans, 605 hp as built w carrillo rods etc... but now not restricted by Speedvision rules I have spare NEW big valve heads with extensive and correct flow bench porting and a cut open heavily ported and welded shut intake manifold, 68 mm billit throttle bodies, 1.7 roller rockers with pushrods, bigger injectors and a little extra compression (still can run on 93 octane PUMP gas!!) I run 96 octane anyway for safety with timing advance etc... With the new go fast stuff (not installed) car will do 750 HP or there about... It is SO incredibly fast now @ 3,000 lbs that I can hardly imagine slaming the short throw shifter quick enough thru the blueprinted 6 speed transmission and blueprinted Quaiffe differential, BBS MAGNESIUM modular race wheels are perfect condition and 18" X 12.5" wide all around! 6 piston Water cooled BIG brakes that never go away WITHOUT using the water cooling (good probably for endurance racing) custom Borla dual side exhausts that sound NICE and blow rather large flames (imagine after the heads etc go on WOW!!) spare ex cond clutch too (I have a triple disc clutch/lightweight combo that can handle 1,200 hp and weighs a total of 22.5 lbs!! can you say "quick revs"?) NEVER crashed .underbody rear cutout diffuser, large front splitter, huge adjustable wing with tabs, the ENTIRE body inside and out is plastic even though it LOOKS like steel inside the car it isn't. Underdrive pulleys, aluminum racing radiator with switchable electric cooling fan, best water pump design, forged pistons, lexan wind screens, fuel cell with quickfill (no cap) system. Original paint with all sticker as raced in Speedvision series on TV .This car was Bobby Archers back up car and he won a race in it after crashing his main car so in effect this car won him the season being that it was a tight points win! It was on the podium! You could never possibly build ANY street viper to come close to touching this car due to the freedom Team Viper had building it from the ground up! I never use the car or my other race car so my loss is your gain YOU WILL LOVE THIS CAR! People crowd around it and ask what is it like to have the fastest car here (when they have cars worh $250 on up) and you know what my car IS faster & the handling is unreal and has aluminum bodied Koni race shocks with special damping etc... ENJOY IT!!! 50 or so total hours on car . I will paint it to perfection any color for $3,500 if you want but it doesn't need it it is as raced and has cool history just as it is. Paint is not perfect not terrible just used racecar again no crashes! It WILL get your heart pumping with 1 hit of the starter trust me...
