This racing Corvette has a very significant and well documented history and is truly one of the classic production race cars of its time.
History
This car was raced in endurance and Trans-Am events from 1971-1976. It was driven mainly by Al Mason, and featured other drivers such as Bill Adam, Craig Fisher,
John Powell and Jaques Duval. After the car was retired it was in storage until its 1984-1985 restoration. In 1989 it was purchased by the current owner
who has raced it since purchase in Canadian and American Vintage events. the car was a factory big block converted for road racing in 1971,
and raced until 1974 for B.F. goodrich Canada (this car was the Canadian counterpart to John Greenwood's B.F. Goodrich Lifesaver Radial Corvette).
In 1975 the car received a small block transplant and was raced for Sunoco Canada in various Trans-Am and regional events in Canada. In 1976,
Adam set the B production track record at Mosport with a lap time of 1:32. The currnet owner converted the car back to its original big block configuration
