It began racing in the mid-west with SCCA and Mid-West Council in both A & B Production. In 1986 it was restored back to its original 1960s race configuration and began its Vintage race history. Racing with SVRA,VSCDA,and HSR it was campaigned all thru the eastern and southern U.S. It has been awarded the prestigious SVRA Historic Race Car Medallion #6-016. This is an early Medallion car-the 16th car in Group #6,when they only awarded the documented history cars. It has raced at the Chicago Historics and the BRIC at Road America. Starting in 2007, it has been invited and raced at The Wine Country Classic, The Coronado Speed Festiful and Monterey Historics with podium finishes in 2008 and 2009 at Monterey. It also won the prestigious Monterey Trophy for performance and presentation in 2009. A front runner in General Racing's and HMSA's Production GT class over 2.5 liter.
