Description
This 1969 Corvette has been racing since the mid-seventies. Included with the car are three logbooks and photos which document the race history of the car. It is currently titled and licensed in the state of Washington, free of any liens. The body of the car is in superb condition. In April of 2005 the entire suspension was rebuilt by the present owner. This included new custom trailing arms, universals, custom Coleman rotors, bearings, new upper and lower custom control arms, springs, spindles, bushings and four Koni double adjustable shocks. All four calipers were completely rebuilt. The car was assembled, balanced and aligned by J&L Racing. Over $12,000 was spent on these items alone, and that documentation is available upon request. The car has four new Hoosiers, with only two heat cycles on these tires. The 355 engine is in top condition and dynos at 560 HP at 6500 RPM and 505 foot-pounds of torque at 4900 at RPM. Compression test range is 220 to 240 pounds. Leak-down tests average less than 7% per cylinder. In short, the engine is solid, ready to race and has many races to go.
