Description
1968 Orange Corvette Convertible Race Car with a fresh engine. Block is a 1969 casting with 4 bolt main caps, 58 cc production aluminum heads, Offenhauser intake, Holley carb,and Hooker side pipes. The body has ZL-1 type flares and L-88 hood. The suspension has Heim jointed sway bars and Guldstrand components.
History
This Corvette was built for High Speed Autocross in SCCA and NCCC. Car ran low 12's in 1/4 mile @ 5000' in elevation. Chevrolet originally built this car yellow in color, with a 427 engine and air-conditioning.
