A race ready car with great history and Championship heritage.

History
The B60 marque was built by Robin Smith in Scotland for Sports 2000 racing. The B60-TS was built as a prototype
for Thunder Sports in 1982. Utilising the Sports 2000 tub and front suspension, a Cosworth BDG was fitted
matted to a Hewland FT200 around which hung B29 rear suspension and uprights. The car was originally tested
by Markus Pye, and led its first race until forced out with gearbox problems. It was then hired out to
David Purley for three races. The car was sold at the season's end to a Mr Lindstrum in Sweden.
It remained in Sweden for fourteen years until October 1998. Since then it had changed hands, and was fitted
with a Hart engine and B36 bodywork. The current owner has it under good authority that it won the Swedish
Thundersports Championship twice collecting over twenty victories along the way. Its former keeper rebuilt
the car in 1996 with new bag tank, and bodywork. Special attention was paid to revamping the tub. Under the ownership of
the current owner it has only been raced in two RJB rounds proving extremely quick. The car is a definite front runner
with more time and development.
