1975 Chevron B29-75-30 driven by Brian Redmond. BMW M12/7 power built by VDS Engines, Taylor blueprinted Hewland FGA, 3 sets of wheels, 2 sets slicks and 1 set rains. Spare cowl and noses. Chassis has CAMS C of D, as it was originally purchased from Australia with BDA running as an Atlantic. Was converted back to BMW in 2009, but still has BDA installation components, no BDA engine. Ownership is documented, as original Fred Opert car 75-76, David Oxton 76-79, Willaim Kelly/Gary Lang 79-84, Christopher Read 84- 91, Ken Smith 91-92, Brian Sampson 92-2000, Peter Whelan 2000-08 and current owner Miles Jackson.
History
Fred Opert Racing took the car to the Peter Stuyvesant Series with driver Brian Redman in 1976. Redman finished tied for 4th in the series and had an impressive 2nd place finish at Manfeild behind Max Stewart's F5000 Lola T400.
