Description This car is just have a comprehensive and meticulous restoration completed. It features the correct FT-200 and a Vegantune twincam. Possessing a virtually complete US ownership trail, the car was purchased as a wreck, less engine and gearbox, and a comprehensive restoration begun. A new chassis was commissioned and new bodywork produced. The entire car has been beautifully restored.

History

In 1970 the BT-28 had become the car of choice for privateers, taking 23 of 60 major F3 races. The BT-29 is an incremental development intended for use in US Formula B, although some were used without major success in European F2. In the States, the BT-29 became as dominant and desirable in Formula B as the BT-28 had been in Formula 3.

This particular car competed in North America, with virtually the entire car ownership in the US being known. It was crashed heavily by the prior owner, Frank Monise, Jr, at Lagua Seca in the early 70s.
