Meticulously restored back to F1 specifications. Originally owned by Robert Ashcroft Racing UK. First raced in F1 in the Sunday Mirror Trophy race at Goodwood on 19 April 1965. The car was then campaigned by Derek Bennett (owner of Chevron Cars UK). In 1986 Mike Freeman purchased and prepared it for the 1987 European Historic Car Championship winning the series outright and in 1988 had a class win. The car was then sold to a buyer in the USA and went through two owners racing at famous circuits such as Watkins Glen, mid-Ohio and Road Atlanta. In 2010 it was purchased by the current owner who bought it back to Australia and restored it. The car comes with a few spares, a new FIA HTP paper current until 2028 and CAMS Log Book. It is eligible to race in F1 Historic Motor Racing throughout the UK and Europe.
