Description
This is a retired racer which has apparently been little used on the street and which
has been in dry storage since 1962. The suspension bushes are little worn and original and the
seats, in particular the passenger's show virtually no wear. The car is in very good condition
save for a few dings and dents which are the result of minor battle damage. The only area of
rust on the entire car is a 2" x 3" section at the rear of the left rocker, not involving the
spring perch.
The are two 948 motors complete but disassembled as well as two intact ribcase transmissions.
There is an Ohio title with the car dated 8/12/66 for 1960 Austin Healey roadster 28011, with incorrect
model number of BN7. The car is very complete right down to the spare Dunlop racing tire mounted
on an original rim, the ink line still on the tread, obviously never driven on.
The car has some interesting original stickers, including the gold spoked wheel with the
"S" in the certer. If anyone knows the source of this please drop us an email.
