Description
This is the Aug 99 EXCELLENCE magazine car,it has since got an 3.6 L with Varioram engine,all new oil system from Patrick Motorsports i.e. oil cooler, 16qts oil tank,all new lines NR fittings and SS braded lines,new Tstat, new HP4 remote oil filter,catch cans etc. Newe fuel systemincluding lines,RSR fuel pump,filter,Fuel Safe cell. Professional cage and chasiss reinforcments,Carerra coil overs, adjustable front sway bar. Tranny is 901 with LTD slip and racing gears short set up , MOMO seat. Brakes ; 911 S all around racing pads, adjustable brake bias and park brake pb. The car weighs 1640 Lbs wet. Wheels front ; 10.5x16 and rear; 12.5x16 Etoiles. Front end is one of a kind quick removable with Dzus fastners and can be changed to traditional 914 front end , also the rear and side panels, this is a semitub chasiss ,see EXCELLENCE magazine on this car for built details (Aug 99 issue). History
Built by Bill Newlin with help from Bruce Anderson of famed Porsche writings and contribuiting editor for EXCELLENCE magazine. Raced in PCA,POC, PRC in CA and Las Vegas. I bought the car from Bill and droped an low miles 993 w/Varioram 3.6L the engine mounts and installation was done by Dale White at Peterson/Whitelightning Premiers Sports Car in Las Vegsa, Patrick Motoresports did the dash rebuid the pedal assambly, most of the conversion from 4 to 6 came from Patrick Motorsports incl the racing clutch complete with Light Weight fly wheel,engine harness,oil system.
