This is a beautifully restored period race car. Called the Kellison Corvette special. This American special raced in 62 and 63 powered by a small block Corvette engine with Rochester Fuel Injection. The chassis is a HIGHLY modified triumph (with many tubes added for strength) and uses Corvette uprights in the front and a narrowed Chevrolet rear end in the rear with a most interesting suspension setup utilizing a transverse leaf sping, sliding pillar central locater, trailing arms and adjustable sway fins. The car is running Chevrolet drum brakes as it did in period. Restored with help from original racer in the early 2000's this car ran in the Monterey Historics. A very fine restoration, this car is offered as turn- key and most worthy of being in any collection that appreciates the American ingenuity of the era! Recently has undergone professional going over and is a most interesting race car with a nicely tuned Rochester Fuel Injection system.
Period race history documented in 1962-63, Ran Monterey Historic in modern times as well as a selection of vintage races.
