Description
This car was built in the mid 90s by a company called Mantac Limited. We believe the car ran primarily in Pro Solo National auto cross events. However, it could certainly be set up for Hillclimbs, SVRA and other vintage road racing events. It is powered by a 3.0 liter Dodge/ Mitsubishi engine producing approximately 222 horsepower and 205 feet pounds or torque. The addition of a turbo charger could increase that up to 320 HP and 315 pound of torque. It is mated to a Staffs gearcase/differential. The suspension is custom built - adjustable, dual master cylinders with balance bar, rack and pinion, 24 comp. and rebound settings on each corner. It comes with BBS wheels and an extra set of almost new tires.
History
As far as we know most use was limited to auto crossing at a high competitive level with the SCCA.
