Description
7/31/10: Just reduced the price...please inquire about the car if you are interested, or make me an offer. This car originally raced in the F3 series, and I have photos of it racing in Monaco, as well as orig publicity shots taken in front of the factory. Was driven by Barry Maskell & was the sister car to the one driven by John Bisigiano (was a F-1 pit reporter). I purchased the car from Jim Gleeves and I raced it all over the US with great resuts. Engine is a Lotus Twin Cam, 1598cc. All steel crank & rods, polished. Balanced and blueprinted by Steve Wolff. Mark IX slip differential. Larger lay shaff with fixed first gear for standing starts. I have the dino sheets and tuning parameters for the motor. The only addnl gauge that is not original is a pyrometer, which I used to fine-tune the carboretor settings. All tuning sheets for different altitudes (and jets) are included. With the car, I am including an extra set of rims (4) and one more additional front mag. Also included are additional uprights & suspension pieces. Optional and negotiable are a number of gear sets for the transmission. Will gladly answer other questions you may have.
History
Information provided to me when I bought the car from Jim Gleeves (in approximately 1989) was that this car raced in the F-3 series in Monaco and was the sister car to the one driven by John Bisigiano (who was later a F-1 pit reporter). I have photos of it racing in Monaco, and also of it in front of the factory in publicity shots. I raced it throughout the US with RMVR, VARA, SVRA & The Monoposto.
