Description
Radical ProSport from the world's largest maker of race cars. This is a great car for club racing or track days. It features most all of the optional parts that were available for the ProSport including the aerodynamics packages, optional full width wing, carbon/kevlar undertray, over-size axles, hubs, and bearings, dry-break fueling system, race lighting package, carbon fiber windscreen and headlight covers, rollbar fairings, air jacks, carbon fiber brake cooling ducts, FIA spec crash box, three piece center lock wheels, diffusers and splitters. This is a spaceframe single seater with right-hand drive and 6 speed sequential shifter on the left. It is powered by a Kawasaki 1000cc Loynings built engine that was recently refreshed by George Dean. It has one test race and practice for a total of about 106 miles since rebuilt. It is for sale with all the spares, jacks, tool kits, extra gearing sets, 8 extra tires and rims (slicks and rains), radios, and lighting pieces.
History
Originally sold in Portland Or. and raced in SCCA for 1-2 years. Purchased in late 2004 and brought to California and Arizona where is was raced in 2005. Illness forced a suspension of racing most of 2006 but the car has always been stored in a garage and run once a month to keep it fresh. The engine was re-built in late 2005 and refreshed by George Dean in 2007. This car has only one practice/test race since it was refreshed (about 106 mi.)
Recent Competition History
Two 2nd place finishes in the Snowbird Nationals 2005, 3rd place finish in the Western States Championship in 2005. Featured in the San Francisco International Auto Show in 2005 at the Moscone Center and the Palo Alto British Car Meet in 2007.
