Description
This is a brand new Sports Racer, designed in 2008 by Luiz Fernando Cruz, former Swift Europe chief designer and current MCR Sports 2000 UK designer. This one is the second unit built to date. The car has a steel tube spaceframe chassis, covered with aluminum panels. The suspension is by push rods front and rear. The aerodynamics features full ground effects, front and rear wings. The engine is a Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 Turbo charged, aproximately 320 HP at 0.8 bar boost. The engine is race prepared, equipped with a Garrett ball bearing turbo charger, forged JE race pistons, forged Carillo rods, havy duty clutch and steel studs. The gearbox is a 6 speed sequential and the transmission is via a superbike chain and a specially designed differential. Opcionally it can be fitted with a paddle shift electric power system. Data logger LCD dash panel is also optional. Brakes are four pot alloy calipers, vented discs, single central wheel nuts, F-3 spec wheels and tires. Overall car weight is under 1000 lbs. Top speed is around 170 mph.
History
Brand new car. This is the second of this model ever built. The first one (pictures) is currently racing in Brazil.
