GRD 1972 Group 7 Sports Racer (Prototype) - Car is in extremely good condition and very, very competitive in the right hands. Strong fuel-injected BDG with little time on it, complete rebuild by MWE. New head, rods, crank, etc. Recent gearbox rebuild. New Koni's and springs. All new fuel and oil systems, plumbing, pumps, etc. Two new fuel-cell bladders this year. New charging system, alternator fitted. HID headlights fitted this year. Quick-fill/dry breaks (fuel capacity: 22 gals. plus). The car has been built specifically for endurance racing (costing a small fortune). Two sets of wheels, brand-new set of rain tires fitted, and slicks. New seat-belts, instruments, drive shafts, new front calipers, new brake rotors, etc., etc. Nose mold to produce new bodywork comes with the car. Can be seen and/or delivered to Sebring.
History
Period history unknown. Restored by Peter Denty around 1985-86. Raced here in the U.S. off and on for the last 20 years. Absolutely unique -- the only one here in the United States.
