History
The Lazer FV was designed and build by the Knapp family around the needs of Steve Knapp, who used these cars to launch his Indy career in the 1980's. SInce then Campbell Motorsports purchased the company and introduced updates to make them even more competitive. These cars are recognized as the nicest looking of the FV cars, with a narrow aerodynamic profile that is excellent on fast tracks. New parts are still available from Campbell MS, including bodies, chassis, and suspension components. The car advertised here was originally built by a highly experienced racer and national competitor in the contentious Central Division. It has been in the winners circle many times, and has been competitive both at the National and Regional level, when driven by someone able to make use of its potential.
