History
The Turtle was built as a street car by TVR in England. Production was less than 300 units. Although the Vixen chassis was offered with a variety of engine/transmission/read-end combinations, most of those that came to the US were 2500s. The previous owner built the Turtle into a race car in 1996. Since acquiring the car in 2001 I have conducted an extensive upgrade and development program on every system on the car and it has become very competitive and reliable. The car has been raced exclusively with CVAR, but is eligible for any vintage event.
