Following a 10-year absense from CART Champ Car racing(1986), AAR built a new Eagle, the Eagle Mk V for the 1996 CART season. There were 6 chassis built and this pne is still available. It is considered a rolling but not complete race ready roller. It has a dummy Toyota engine. The Toyotas were all reclaimed by the factory and it has proven impossible to obtain one in running condition.The owner believes Cosworth XBs could be fit to make this car into a runner with a minimum of fabrication. The concensus from AAR is that an XB will drop in nicely.

To assist with the sale of these cars Dan Gurney has agreed to provide a letter of authentication for the cars as well as meet with the new owner to discuss the history of these cars and provide a photo opportunity with the car and the new owner. A rare chance to meet with an American racing legend as well as own one of his historic Eagles.
