Description
Construction just completed in September, 2017 on this beautiful Lotus Elan race car. Having a fresh blue printed race engine. The body work was done by T&M Restorations in Colorado. A lot of new fiberglass work had to be done and 26-R flares were added to both front and rear of the car. The car was painted with multi-coats of Lotus green and yellow Deltron 2000 DBC acrylic urethane. The engine work was designed by skilled craftsman, George Widich who worked for the "Matthews Collection" in Colorado. They owned and raced several Lotus Elans as well as other twin cam Lotus race cars. Many of the engine parts as well as other race car equipment came from 'Tony Thompson Racing" in the UK. The final phase of construction was performed by Bob Wagner in Atlanta, GA. Bob had MANY years of experience in racing, constructing and maintaining British race cars. He prepared and installed the engine and tranny, dry sump tank and oil lines, fuel and electric lines and did everything necessary to put the car on the race track!
