Description
Complete body off restoration finished in April, 2009. All parts either new or rebuilt. Engine is a 1622cc MGA motor with Huffaker head. Tranny has new Jack Knight straight cut, close ratio gears. Rear end is a Detroit Locker. One of only 88 Elva Couriers made with Independent Rear suspension designed by Trojan and similar to the set-up used on the first McLaren M1A. Fresh paint and only two race week-ends since completed. Accepted with CSRG and HMSA. Car is located in Walnut Creek, CA. Retirement forces sale.
History
Car was autocrossed in Northern California from almost new, and then retired to storage in the 80's. Present owner purchased in 2007 and restored car to 1966 SCCA GCR specs. Two vintage race week-ends since restored.
