Description
This is the original Prototype verified by factory records, the car has the original Aluminum body and is totally authentic. Car had no chassis plate until it was sold at the Nassau speedweeks in 1962, it was then badged #28. Engine is original 1300cc twin cam and it has the very early Hewland mk3 gearbox. This amazing car has been in bits since 1966 and had very little use before then. This is a real original car and i believe, should be kept as original. After all it is the only one like it in the world. I can also supply a fibreglass body from original moulds (in my fathers possesion in the UK)
History
Limited History here as the car only ran for a couple of years. However i am gathering the cars history from UK before it came to Nassau through some ex Elva staff, look for updates. I did find this picture of the car, this was original owner Dick Young at the nationals at VIR in 1964 finishing 3rd.
Recent Competition History
3rd place 1964 Nationals @ VIR, driver Dick Young. More History coming from Ex Elva employees. This is a slow process as i have to be patient as most of them can only come off their breathing machines, for about 2 mins per day.
