1971 Camaro Z-28 Vintage race car. The car is freshly restored with only three(3) race weekends on it. It is truely a show car in its preparation, paint quality,and race engineering fabrication. It can race in A/Sedan,IMSA,and Trans Am groups.It is currently running a 550HP 355 small block chevy. But it can be run with a big block Chevy 427-509 cubic inch for the IMSA/Trans Am groups(1971-1982). History
The car was built about 15 years ago for vintage racing. It has raced mostly in the western United States. It has raced mainly in A/Sedan,but recently with the popularity of the new IMSA/Trans Am groups,it has raced in these new IMSA/TA groups. Most recently it was invited and competed at the prestigious Coronado Speed Festival race at the US Navel Air Base on Coronado Island in San Diego. One of the fastest A/Sedans in the country.
Recent Competition History
It has won the last three races with SCCA and HSRW at PIR in Phoenix. It was a top ten car racing in the FIA/IMSA GTO/Can-Am race group at the Coronado Speed Festival.
