For sale is a virtually flawless 1971 Brabham, BT-35. The restoration was started in 2004 by well-known restorer Dave Irwin who crack-checked the frame and had it powder-coated. Dave crack-checked the suspension and had it nickel-plated. The remaining restoration was completed by the present owner in 2007. The BT-35 was run briefly in late '07 and in two races in '08. No races in 2009. Approximately 9 hours on car, mostly for dyno tuning and set-up. Fuel injected 1600 Cosworth FVA engine by Dave Vegher. 237 HP @ 9,700 RPM. $30K on engine work alone. Many new components: oil reservoir, fire system, radiator, oil cooler, Koni shocks, two stage fuel system, ignition system and much more. Tires have one race on them. Car has spare, non-wing nose for CSRG competition. It is one of the easiest formula cars to drive.
